Today May 25th 2015, the Public Relations Unit visited the  Tobago School for the Deaf Speech and Language Impaired in efforts to recognize the differently abled .

The three Agency members were greeted by one student who escorted them to the Principals office. The Tobago School for the Deaf Speech and Language Impaired  located at Centre Street Canaan, comprises of approximately 40 students.

At the Tobago Emergency Management Agency we are very cognisant of the Special Needs cases on the island, this visit not only assisted with the recognition of the differently abled but assisted us in the update of our Special Need Registry.

The Agency thanks the Principal, Teachers, other members of Staff and students of the  Tobago School for the Deaf Speech and Language Impaired for a warm and open welcome. This allowed the Agency to have a greater appreciation for our Special Need Community.
