Emergency Medical Technician Training
The Tobago Emergency Management Agency is currently hosting an Emergency Medical Technician Training at the Scarborough Community Centre, Bacolet Street Scarborough.
The training commenced on March 10th 2014 and ends on April 30th 2014, a duration of six(6) weeks.
The Emergency Medical Technician training consist of thirty persons, of these thirty persons; twenty-one (21) Fire Officers, four (4) Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force Reserve,four (4) Community Emergency Response Team and one (1) Tobago Emergency Management Agency.
At the end of this course, once successful,the participants will be eligible to sit the US National Registry Exam.
This is an attempt to build capacity in Tobago for emergency responders as well as to raise the standard of emergency medical care provided by responders.
