The Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh confirmed reports of the first case of the Zika Virus afftecting the shores of the twin island, Trinidad and Tobago.
It was confirmed that a 61 year old female was tested positive for the Zika Virus via a Laboratory test. The female patient was said to have recently travelled to New Zealand. However it is unknown how she contracted the virus.
